Britain's Prime Minister in waiting warns of national debt default.
The report from the Daily Telegraph may be read from here.
David Cameron needs to get a grip.
If this is what he believes he should be demanding an immediate recall of Parliament, a General Election and preparing a small team of ministers to handle the crisis, (I would personally propose William Hague for immediate re-negotiation of our EU outgoings, John Redwood for Chancellor of the Exchequer and a senior mature figure for the Foreign Office). Any such three should be released from electioneering and prepare the strategy for national rescue to become a crisis policy triumvirate with subsequent administrative matters left to Cameron and his clique. Depending on the election outcome a Lib/Dem could join the still very small group.
The outcome of the grave crisis now facing Britain will depend upon skillful diplomacy across the world and hard-nosed negotiations within the EU.
Only a few days back David Cameron's senior shadow ministers were promising increased real spending on the NHS up to 2015 and ring fencing of overseas aid payments by the country.
The leader of Britain's opposition now needs to get a grip as urgently as this Government needs replacing.
Make up your mind 'Vapid', are we entering a blissful land of unimagined free health operations for all or staring disaster in its face?
