BWAHAHA!: HOT AIR SCREENING MY COMMENTS!

I have been a frequent linker to Hot Air, and a regular commenter there.

NO MORE, EVIDENTLY:

Since I posted a comment they didn't like about Michelle Obama resembling the missing link, they screen my comments.

I think it also has to do with the fact that - despite their reputation for fast hot links - I have scooped them 18 times this year and a few hundred times in the last few years.

What peeves me is this: many of the comments they allow and leave up have idiotic adolescent humor - like saying Bill Maher has small hands.

They're allowed to screen comments - I do. It's interesting what kind of crass comments they leave up. It shatters any claim they might have that they're screening mine for crassness. They are simply being pigheaded. It's their blog; they can be pigheaded if they want.

I will continue to give them hat-tips - why not? - I link to the NYTIMES all the time.

And I will continue to scoop the crap out of them - even though I'm a part-timer with a 10 year old laptop.
