WIKILEAKS IS ANTI-DEMOCRATIC: THE ASTUTE BLOGGERS SCOOPS HOT AIR AND THE TELEGRAPH BY 11 DAYS
HOT AIR LINKED TO THE TELEGRAPH TODAY:
WE POSTED THIS SAME SENTIMENT 11 DAYS BEFORE THE TELEGRAPH ON DECEMBER 3:Janet DaleyWhat is it precisely that the ideologues of the great information revolution are arguing? That no one has a right to confidentiality in any sphere of public life – apart from WikiLeaks’ staff, of course, and their internet comrades in the Anonymous network who wreak vengeance on any website that threatens WikiLeaks’ power?
What about the lawyer-client relationship, which has privileged confidentiality in the eyes of the law?
It might be of considerable public interest to see the correspondence between defendants and their lawyers in terrorist trials, for example.
Would WikiLeaks publish such material if it got its hands on it?
For that matter, would it be willing, as a matter of public interest, to publish all the communications between Julian Assange and his lawyer?
WE SCOOP ALL THE BIGGIES ALL THE TIME.WHO SHOULD DECIDE WHAT IS RIGHTLY A CLASSIFIED NATIONAL SECRET, OUR ELECTED OFFICIALS, OR UNELECTED LEFTISTS WHO HATE AMERICA?
People who think Assange and WIKILEAKS did the right thing are either insane or merely anti-American/anti-West.
And what Assange did is no different than what the NYTIMES did several times during the Bush Administration.
These UNELECTED left-wing elitists think so highly of themselves and disdain democracy so much that they usurp the power we the people cede to our elected leaders. They are truly FASCISTS.
... AND ANOTHER THING:
all those leftists who got their pink panties in a knot over the Plame Affair - which involved ONE retired non-covert agent - have said bupkus about the HUMONGOUS WIKILEAKS.
Which proves - once again - that their "outrage" in the Plame Affair was phony, or at least PURELY PARTISAN and had NOTHING TO DO WITH NATIONAL SECURITY.
SPREAD THE WORD.
