HOW THE LEFT AND THE UN HAVE ENABLED IRAN

The "anti-war" movement - which so viciously attacked Dubya and protested the Iraq War - and the Left and the UN have enabled Iran by castrating the USA by making the USA afraid to take any action on its own - without the UN.

Iran knows that Obama won't attack without first getting "stiff" UNSC sanctions and giving them time to work.

And Iran also knows that Obama would then want a UNSC Resolution authorizing the use of force before getting one from Congress.

So, Iran knows that it can play the same games that Saddam played ONLY MORE SO, because although Blix and el Baradei found that Iraq was in violation of the UNSCR's which comprised the armistice for the Gulf War, no WMD were found IN IRAQ. This has made the CIA's and the USA's assessment of Iran's nuke program suspect.

This has effectively raised the bar on the anti-Iran nations and has made it easier for Iran to operate with even greater disregard for the UN and the USA and the "international community".

Ahmadinejad can be openly defiant and fear nothing.
